State-of-the-Art Infrastructure
Our company operates on a sprawling 10-acre facility equipped with advanced amenities. Our infrastructure includes Kiln Drying, Heat Treatment, Chemical Treatment, Planing, and other woodworking facilities, allowing us to cater to the specific requirements of our esteemed customers. Combined with our highly efficient workforce, this infrastructure has been instrumental in our remarkable growth over the years.
Product Range
At Akash Industries, we take pride in manufacturing premium pine wood pallets that are customized according to our customers' specifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive range of products including Seasoned Pine Wood, Planed Pinewood, Treated Pinewood (specifically designed for Cooling Towers), Pine Wood Planks, Battens, Sleepers, SPF KD Lumber, and more. Each product is meticulously crafted to meet the unique requirements of our clients. Furthermore, we are committed to sourcing timber from sustainable origins and have obtained certifications from the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).
Commitment to Sustainability
At Akash Industries, we are deeply committed to reducing carbon footprints and ensuring the responsible sourcing of timber. All our timber is certified and sourced from legal origins, with no involvement in illegal logging activities. As evidence of our commitment, we possess PEFC certifications and provide customers with Chain of Custody (COC) documentation. Moreover, we have established a 250 KW Solar Power generation plant, and plans are underway to set up another similar unit in the coming months. Once commissioned, 80% of our power consumption will be derived from green energy sources.
Importation and Competitive Pricing
To ensure utmost customer satisfaction, we directly import a wide range of softwoods such as Radiata Pine, Southern Yellow Pine (SYP), and SPF (KD) Lumber from various countries worldwide, including New Zealand, Australia, Uruguay, South Africa, Europe, and the USA. By doing so, we are able to offer competitive prices without compromising on quality.
Certifications and Compliance
We are proud to hold certifications such as MSME, PEFC (Sustainability of Forest), and ISPM 15, which further validate our commitment to excellence and adherence to industry standards.
Capacity and Financials
With an installed capacity to process 60,000 m3 of logs and manufacture 300,000 pallets annually, we are well-equipped to meet the demands of our clients. In the fiscal year 2022-23, our turnover reached Rs. 83 Cr., and we are poised to surpass the 100 Cr. mark this fiscal year.
